LiamL
Very cool thread. I have a bone block with verts in it than even my TT scribe struggles with. Very thick with horrible pyrite. I'm wondering if i should try some vinegar? It's from Yorkshire in England Yorkshire Coast Fossil Hunter

Pyrite typically doesn’t respond to vinegar unless there’s a good bit of lime in the matrix. I’ve used sulphuric acid on shark coprolites that don’t react with vinegar. That stuff is dangerous though. Be very careful experimenting with acids. 3 Regards, Kris Global Paleo Services, LLC https://globalpaleoservices.com http://instagram.com/globalpaleoservices http://instagram.com/kris.howe

These coprolites had a significant amount of fish bone packed in them and I was attempting to identify the meal.
