Plantguy
Hi gang. Seeing all of the great posts from your recent trips was driving me crazy last week and forced me to go out in a driving rainstorm on Sunday morning to Casperson/Venice beaches for some beach hunting. Most sane folks would have avoided driving an hour+ in a downpour only to get out and stand in more rain with the wind howling--but I'm not sane. Even better yet the real sane folks would have waited till the afternoon when the weather actually cleared and then go out hunting! Oh well, Thank you to all! I had an absolutely fantastic time! Unfortunately there were no large megs as I keep dreaming about and seeing Megateeth pull from the bottom--outrageously super nice stuff!!!keep posting---but I did bring home quite a number of small fragments of very very small shark teeth--lemon shark and others, eagle ray teeth, stingray spine fragments, turtle shell fragments, fish mouth parts and some other pieces of bone/bony armor. Keep posting, you'll force me out again. thanks! Regards, Chris

Phoenixflood
Yes, there are lots of crazy weather conditions we die-hard fossil hunters go through to find fossils. I being one of them The soul of a Fossil Hunter is one that is seeking, always.
