Paul1719
I sold my property in Massachusetts in June and was going through the boxes of fossils to determine which were worth keeping. One specimen appeared to be just the edge of a Turrisapis spinal plate but when I started to pick at it it kept going and going. Here is the end result. An extremely well preserved articulated nearly complete head and thoracic shield. This was one of those rocks we all keep thinking maybe it's got something but end up sitting in a box in the garage for all eternity. I probably wouldn't have done anything with this had it not been for moving out of my house (farm). I think it also demonstrates the power of extracting material with a jackhammer that has not been subject to water degradation.
