Guest solius symbiosus
I found a nice Hebertella frankfortensis yesterday, along with some other stuff. I'll post some pics later. Here is the Hebertella: EDIT: In the scale at the bottom, the bold line is one inch

geofossil
Desmond, Thanks for sharing your finds. You mention a Phacops rana which is a Devonian trilobite. In your spread of fossils there appears to be Mucospirifer spiriferid brachiopods...also Devonian. The Herbertella is an Ordovician brachiopod. Are the fossils all from the same locale or is the Herbertella from some other locale?
Desmond
The herby was a text book copy of the image this thread kind of started as a way to post our picutres as we talked in chat. But your right the herby is one I nominaly find in SW Ohio and the Phycops and Spirifers are from Hamburg NY at the Penn Dixie site. BTW anyone know what the single large photo is? I know I've seen it in one of my books but still cannot identify it...
Guest solius symbiosus
I know it and it is on the tip of my tongue, but I can't come up with it. It starts with an "A", or has a few "A's" in it's name ... I think.
