amyboone
Will someone who knows the area between Austin and San Antonio PM me please? I am looking for a place to take my kids to look for echinoids. I dont want anyone's private spot or anything, but just a well known place maybe? Am I saying too much? tracer
oh, great! now you've revealed that there might be an echinoid left in central texas that the "fossil doctors" on this forum from that area haven't laparoscopically removed from all strata within 10 feet of the surface! if i lived in that area i'd be stopping and looking at every roadcut, creek, or bare patch of ground everywhere i went. then i'd mark every spot on a map and whether i found anything or not. after a while, my pockets would look like a hamster's cheeks when the food bowl's full... grandpa
tracer has given you good advice! Try that heading toward Canyon Lake from San Antonio on Hwy 280.
