Spoons
Great teaching tool! Imagine having that archaeopteryx skull next to modern day raptors, egrets, ducks and songbirds!

So yeah, I should make a comparison photo some time. Good idea! thanks! Olof Moleman AKA Lord Trilobite

The detail is really great. It's quite simple actually. I used a darker brown as a base colour and made sure it covered everything. I then dry brushed several tints of lighter browns and yellows on there to highlight the shapes and give it a weathered look. It should be fairly dry and not a lot of paint on the brush so that the paint doesn't flow into the cracks. Instead the paint will catch on the raised areas, and thus it will accentuate them. 1 Olof Moleman AKA Lord Trilobite

Nanotyrannus35
How do you get them so smooth? Do you use an extremely thin filament or sand it down? I can't see any lines. Enthusiastic Fossil Hunter

Takes alot longer to print on HQ, but worth it Marble PLA come out rather good to, just need to add the teeth.
