Here's one we cut.  I'd love to make a few cabs from them one of these days!

The next 2 pics are of the same shell.  We often find them complete and connected at the hinge.

Athyris spiriferoides, I think.

Love all the corals.

How strange, beautiful and nicely contrasting is that! Thanks for sharing!

Is this a somewhat obliquely cut, large tabulata?

Thank you! It's an internal cross section of a favosite.  Depending on how you cut it you can get some rather interesting shapes!

Bottom left looks like Spinatrypa spinosa. also looks like you have a Mediospirifer mucronatus as well

Beautiful! What species are

Thank you!!! And most are but I am not positive about the darker one.  It looks different than the others I have found, so it may be something else?  I haven't found another quite like it.  I need to try to look it up one of these days.  :)

Nice finds and gorgeous corals, Lissa. I'm glad to see you're all well and getting out there finding more good stuff. You can never have too much stuff. :crab:

Start the day with a smile and get it over with.

Thanks my friend!!!  I hope you're doing great as well and we try to get to NY as often as possible!  My daughter went with us for the first time on our last trip and had a blast.  We are definitely looking forward to Spring! :)

Very nice finds! i like a lot the coral also! B)

Thank you nala!!!!  I have to admit I'm surprised I got more of a response from the corals than the trilobites!  lol It's a pleasant surprise as I honestly do a happy dance everytime I find one.  :hearty-laugh:

Wow, I sure love that stuff you found....and great photos.  Thanks for sharing.  I love fossil coral, as well.  We have it in relative abundance here in FLA

Thanks I appreciate it!!!  And yes I have seen some gorgeous agatized corals from Florida with amazing colors! Florida fossils of any kind are some of my favorites.  I'd love to make it to the Peace one of these days.  :D

Lissa,  some of the finest silicified coral heads/nodules are found in certain other Florida rivers as well....such as the upper/middle Suwannee, Withlacoochee (trib. of the Suwannee). A mask and snorkel in shallow limerock shoals/sections during dry periods when water levels are down and clearer (April/May or October) will do the trick. There will be vertebrate fossils on occasion to boot.  Cheers
