Completely geodized with calcite crystals. They don't look very impressive in the photo, because I think there's still sodium bicarb residue all over them, I will have to wash it off and get another pic once it's finished being prepped.

 

I found his brother in October. :D

James has been working a bench he had a hunch about, and I was lucky enough to work it with him a few days, and it definitely paid off. We had a couple of days of total busts this spring on the spot, but he insisted we kept following the bench back, and lo and behold, paydirt!

Yes! I always knew the rollers will full of calcite, but who wants to break a perfectly good roller to get to silly calcite!? These are cool display pieces for sure.
