Auspex
Beautiful and fascinating (the coal-swamps really were my first fossil love). The third pic in the third set ("twig") is very interesting; do you find it's like often? There is an old stone quarry down in the forest where I am finding a punch of them, also the Ambridge site has a lot. I have a few more photos of some twigs I will post them Paul. RomanK
Hi Paul, you've got very good examples of Eusphenopteris, nice specimens! And Annularia Stellata as well (3rd and 4th in your sets). Annularia is not a fern, it's an extincted horstail. Roman http://s1143.photobu.../donbassfossil/
