Nice! My favorite one is easy. It’s my only one. I bought the block at a rock show several years back with just a bit showing and prepped it down to this far so far. I still don’t know what it is yet though. I really have a gap in my fossil collection regarding fish.

Well it's been quite some time since I posted my favorite fishes from my collection and I have to admit that my top 3 changed since then! :)

My all time favorite fish and also one of my favorite fossils (if not my favorite) is my Messel gar (Atractosteus messelensis) found in the famous Messel Pit near Darmstadt in Germany. (Eocene, 48 mya)

One of my other favourites which is one of my most recent aqcuisitions is this amazing shark fossil found in Hajula, Byblos in Lebanon. (Cretaceous, 98 mya)

And this nice little Mesacanthus pusillus found in the Achanarras Quarry, Caithness, Scotland (Devonian, 385 mya)

They rarely preserve this nicely.

Well, this is mine- a diplo I got last year, and the second I ever found. Also the first I prepped my self(as posted in another thread recently) my absolute favorite is actually a plaster cast of a knightia that inspired me to return to the hobby after a nearly fifteen year break.
