Mark Kmiecik Posted July 24, 2019 Share Posted July 24, 2019 Agreed -- Stigmaria. Not a very good specimen. It may be from Mazon Creek, but it is not a typical MC concretion. If your intent is to collect Mazon Creek fossils I would pass on this. Stigmaria is common and a typical two-halves concretion with much better preservation can be had dirt cheap. If you can get it for less than the price of an ice cream cone go for it, otherwise . . . Mark. Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!
