Heres a couple of my finds from a marl pit in New Jersey. From the Navesisk formation. Nothing that great,just some Bone frags, Ark Clams and a few fish vertebrae.

Heres a couple more pic's. Not reall sure what the long one was, but that is how i found it. It doesn't really look like bone. Maybe a piece of coral.

Thanks; I like seeing what stuff looks like fresh from a site I've never been to.

In this context, there are no mundane fossils :)

You mean it can get to cold to hunt fossils? ;)

lol...no not really. i found my best mosasaur tooth last feb in big brook. the gravel bars were frozen solid.

A find is always a good find. Besides, it never gets to cold to fossil hunt.
