ID assist bone? Rock? Drilled or natural?

This doesn't appear to have any bone texture to it. 

This looks like a rock to me.   

I can see how it might look bone like. Better to have taken it than to leave a real fossil.  

 

As to whether it has been drilled or not, well lit,  close up pictures of the holes on each side might tell us more.

I have this one but maybe I can do better. Thank you for the response. Maybe not an important find but cool to me!

It's conceivable that the hole was something like a root trace, but that's as close as I see it being to a fossil (bone) or an artifact.
