Viola has received her Secret Santa package!!!!!!!!!!

She's very excited and wanted to open it immediately, but I reminded her that she'll have to wait until Christmas Eve to open it - less than 4 weeks to go!!!!!!!!!!

I plan on waiting to open mine, too, Ralph!  I'm a very good role model for my children (at least while they're around, watching me - after the kids are in bed and I'm alone with all of the junk food in the house, that's another story! :P)

Derek just put up our Christmas tree this afternoon, and the kids decorated it - here's what it looks like:

As you can see, there's already one gift under the tree - the fossil gift that Viola received from her Secret Santa!!!  Notice that it's still unopened - Viola is going to be patient and wait until Christmas Eve to open it :dinothumb:

And this afternoon our Northern cardinal couple visited our backyard (probably ahead of the snow-and-ice storm that's supposed to arrive early tomorrow morning and last until Monday morning) - here's a photo of the male cardinal:

Isn't he lovely???!!!

I can see Viola, but is that William on top with the beard? :headscratch:

Nice birdie too. I sure do miss them over here.

10 different countries-

Poland. France, Morocco, Netherlands, Germany, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Portugal, the U.S. of A., and of course Texas ( that's big enough to be considered a country all by itself! )

Nothing from Asia this year.

We still need to work on getting some participation from Antarctica though. Maybe next year. :fingerscrossed:

Viola made that ornament with her Brownies group.

As for William - there's no photo of him on the tree, but he did make that painting of our family that's hanging on the tree - he made it when he was at daycare.

No sorry it is a digital projector . Sometimes we use them for our art exhibitions but it nice to use as a home cinema on  occasions  especially because we don’t have a TV.

Thanks, Bobby!

I really like Scrooged, too - it's a nice feel-good movie.  I also like the theme song by Annie Lennox and Al Greene - because of the movie, "Put a Little Love in your Heart" always makes me think of Christmastime. :)

And a nice cameo appearance by Miles Davies too. :dinothumb:

Santa’s sure getting some early business from us all this year.

I just wanted to make sure everybody gets their packages in a timely manner since some people leave home for the holidays.

I hope your Christmas dreams come true and all get some good stuff.

P.S.  do Sugarplum fairies fossilize?

How many women participate to that secret santa ?

I've made my counts : 6

I have 8 for international and another 2 shipping US domestic.

With 43 players, that's close to 1/4 of all playing.  Not bad at all!
