It's that time again, time for the Fossil of the Month! Thanks to all those who particiapated in entering FOTM for Oct! Even if you weren't picked for this months' poll you all still entered awesome fossils! It was a hard decision to narrow it down to these seven, it will be even harder to pick just one, at least for me What will be this forums' choice for FOTM for October?

1. Tapir jaw (worthy 55)

2. Eremotherium sp. (Tracer Jr.)

giant ground sloth

approximately 5.5 inches x 2 inches x 1.5 inches

3. Hadrosaur jaw (Sharkdentist)

4. Mammoth milk tooth (Pool Man)

5. Echinoid “It's so rare that I'm not even sure what genus it is, much less species.” (danwoehr )

10/3 in the Georgetown Formation of Texas (roughly 102 MYA). ; I'll tentatively call it Phyllacanthus sp

6. Nanillaenus conradi trilobite (Northern Sharks)

7. 150 lb Petrified Log (Rsmull)

Lots of great fossils up there it was hard to just pick one.

Every fossil here is outstanding!
