Here's mine from Gilbert's Grave road cutting, also Gloucestershire. It was quite covered in matrix and I made a bit of a mess of the prepping, hence all the nasty scratches, but it was forty odd years ago and I was a foolish young man rather than the foolish older man I am today. 11 cm across.

Close ups:

I have to admit, the Oreodont jaw is my favorite. I have wanted an Oreodont and now I have my very own. Thank you Santa!

Next Favorite is the Ocala Sea Urchin and the Jellyfish Nodules.  I have some Ocalala stuff but not a whole urchin and didn't have ANY Mazon Creek stuff, so that is exciting!

More Mazon goodies:

An amazing Shark Spine

And i am not 100% certain what the big cast claw and matrix thingie are (as seen in image 2)- maybe T Rex? And a big stack of specimen cards, which is awesome because I didn't have any.  And one of my other most favorite things -Some Aurora Micro Matrix!! PLUS.....a book that I am really looking forward to digging into! I've been to Egypt (not for fossil hunting, alas) so am really looking forward to this:

I'm petty sure @Adam86cucv is correct in his guess, but just in case, I'll go for my second choice of @connorp.

Well, I was even a split second late for that - haha

Jamie,

I am glad that you liked the selection of fossils. Regarding the claw of the cast, I cannot remember what it is from, but I always liked it.

Happy Holidays

Pictures of idyllic Christmas scenes or The Inferno, please. :Horrified:

snarge, I am a bit too late. Still thought I would share a picture of a typical "idyllic Christmas scene" from here in Australia :)

Instead of putting on Christmas sweaters or drinking egg nog, many Aussies just head down to the beach on Christmas day to beat the summer heat.
