Moose or cow or ?

Horse, i think actually. I believe that's a cannon bone for a perissodactylid? I could be wrong - but it's definitely not an artiodactylid like a cow/bison/deer/moose.

Multiple photos, size and general location are always useful for identifications.  That said, this looks more like a distal humerus of some kind.

So the view in the first picture looks like a caudal view of the distal end of a large mammal humerus.

I don't know the condition of fossilized bones in your area or how it feels to you, but based on colors and apparent texture in the picture, I would think it was modern if I found it.
