RickNC
Some nice little makos there too. That small one has a neat inclusion of color. The gw is a bit over 2" and has awesome colors and is flawless. The Parotodus is my third and best to date. I was quite surprised to find it. It isn't perfect but is pretty nice. The Otodus is pretty neat. Probably the best one I've found around here even though it's in poor condition. hokiehunter
Great stuff Rick. I love that GW coloration. One day I need to drag my butt down to GMR. BTW... Otodus in GMR??? Very cool. Didn't realize they were there too. Such a unique creek.
MikeDOTB
Yes GMR has a wide variety and a lot of reworked material present Hokie. Otodus occasionally pop up and even Auroculatus and chubetensis. These are usually pretty worn and barely faint serration lines if any at all. I have a pretty decent otodus from there as well but it's still worn and would pale in comparison to specimens from the Potomac and that region. Wow Rick those are some awesome finds. How did you manage all that with the water levels being so high!? DO, or do not. There is no try.
