My friend and I went down last week but the water was still rather deep, fast, and murky. I can handle some depth but really don't like getting into water with enough tannin in it that I can't tell what's under the surface. I want to be able to see what I'm stepping on! We spent most of the day scouting out potential hunting spots for later trips. Found some areas that I'd really like to try out around some downed trees.
