Calvert cliffs first time posting.

Long time lurker, first time poster.  Here are a few pics from my hunt last week at the cliffs.  Normally hunt in between plum point and dares beach.  This time I Came away with a nice meg, a big broken meg and my first symphseal cow shark tooth!

I just started colecting  this past summer and normally get out one or two times a week.  Also, I just got a jet ski so I look forward to being able to get to some spots that aren't accessible by land.

Very nice little symphyseal. Much better than any meg in my book. Though nice megs are sweet. It is definitely a much rarer find.

Great teeth!  I keep telling my wife that we need a jet ski. It would be awesome to hunt somewhere besides Brownies Beach and Flag Ponds.

Nice Teeth! Someone found a meg behind me recently as well. Happens all the time. You have to wonder how many are there that you don't see.

Finds from today.  Tide was out very far today.  Found a few cool things.  2 megs and a wale vert were the best things of the day.

Nope it way laying in about 6 inches of water at the edge of the beach.   Just a part of it was sticking out of the sand.

Wow, those are sweet finds.  I have not been down there in years, guess I will have to head back down there and take my grandsons this time.

Aren't those Chubutensis teeth? I never really collected the Miocene fossils but both teeth do have little cusplets.

You could be right.  The do have tiny cusps starting to form.  Maybe someone else can give an opinion?
