Even talking about taking pictures and showing to a perspective trade partner negates the rules of the "Blind Trade" idea and therefore is not allowed. Oh the shame!!! I've got the pot of tar starting to boil, will someone put up the feathers for this event?

Seaforth's and my discussion in the fall had nothing to do with a blind trade.I just happened to bring it up on this thread which may have been a poor choice. Please forgive me! Save the tar and feathers for someone else more deserving. 1 I like Trilo-butts and I cannot lie.

CBOB
Got me some more fossils in the mail from some other blind trades so I thought I would post them. As of now all my trades with people have been shipped on my end. Most were international so it may take a little time but they are comin. And now MY new pieces to add to the collection: From across the pond, @JohnBrewer with a great piece of Ichthyosaur coprolite with inclusions! Thanks so much! Killer poo from a killer animal! Next up, a fossil from @Darktooth ! I've been collecting fossils for years now but actually have never hunted or found a trilobite. I have not one trilo in the collection… until now. Love it. And love the look of the matrix with it too! Thanks to both of you guys for such great trades!

VTinNorthAB
We came home today to our blind trade from @CBOB!! It’s amazing and so pretty! Thank you so incredibly much!! My 3 year old saw the box and had a death grip on it. She insisted on opening it, stated it was hers, put it on her shelf and then ran off with the bubble wrap Thank you again!!

Nimravis
Well I entered into a 1-4-1 fossil trade with @caldigger , Doren, and he accepted. I mailed my package out a day earlier that he did, and his package to me arrived earlier today and the one I sent him is somewhere in the "Postal Zone". I never understand how they guarantee a 2 day delivery with Priority and his package might not arrive until Monday- 6 days later- the tracking message states that it got "Diverted", likely story. But I digressed, now onto what I received from Doren; he sent a very large Crassotrea Titan Oyster from Upper Miocene- Santa Margarita Formation of Coalinga, California. But Doren, being Doren, he must have run out of bubble wrap to fill the Medium size Priority box, so he filled it with fossils, a geode half and a couple other goodies. Next time, you should try newspaper and then you can hang onto your other fossils. A Devonian Crotaiacephalus sp. Trilobite from Hamarlaghad, Morocco. A lower Triassic- Olenekian Stage "Australosomus" fish nodule from the Karoo Formation of Anaborana, Madagascar. A great Hydrophilus sp. beetle from the Pleistocene McKittrick (CA.) tar seeps. This area is near Sharktooth Hill and contains the same type of Fauna found at the famous LaBrea Tar Pits of Los Angeles, California. And lastly, a nice geode and a DVD on sharks, including Megalodon. Doren, thanks again, and I know that my package will pale in comparison to what you sent me, but it does contain something that you can work on while watching TV - hope it arrives in tact and soon.
