Planktonic Cretaceous Foraminifera

As some of you may know, I am building a foraminifera catalog of all times. So Iam happy about contributions by professional and avocational scientists:

Dr. M.Dan Georgescu, Department of Geoscience, University of Calgary, AB, Canada is making a great contribution of SEM images of foraminifera from his publications on foram lineages in the fossil record.

Check it out at www.foraminifera.eu/collection.php…

  • 2 months later...

I am hooked on all that is tiny. I am currently sorting residue from the Jurassic Oxford Clay collected in the Cotswolds UK. Hopefully later this year I am going to start photographing, I can start with the forams and send you the images if you want.

Dear Brittle Star,

you are welcome. We will be happy to enlarge our database with your images. You will get a contributors page.

We will give you our opinion on the identifications.

I am looking forward to your contribution.

Hi Michael, I have bookmarked your site, it may take a while to roughly sort into different types, that way I can send you a selection of each. Fingers crossed you will hear from me in the next 3 months. Glad to help and get England on your map.
