Coral fossil? Found around Eiffel Tower

I don’t believe there is any Cretaceous in Paris, but that doesn’t exclude it being Cretaceous. It could have been transported by Le Seine. There is Cretaceous upstream a ways.

I agree. Probably from a superficial gravel, either local (there's a lot of Upper Chalk in the Anglo-Paris Basin it could have derived from) or brought in as a surfacing material.
