aplomado
I bought this ammonite at a gem show the other day. It is about 2.5" across. I know it is real, but am curious about how "natural" it is- has it been excessively polished, cut, or otherwise altered? I know most Madagascar ammonites are altered in some way. caldigger
They usually cut off the end of the living chamber on these, other than that it is "au natural".
