    Paleontology talk canceled

    Due to an emergency, the speaker for the NCGS Meeting on February 24th has been changed to:
    Exploring California’s Hydroscapes by John Karachewski PhD

    Since 2009, John has written quarterly photo essays for the Groundwater Resources Association of California - Hydrovisions newsletter. This scenic presentation will take you on a tour of California’s hydroscapes and provide insights into groundwater, water resources, and environmental issues. Explore groundwater springs in northern CA, wetlands restoration in the Delta, melting glaciers in the Sierra Nevada, and fault-control on groundwater discharge in desert locales.
