Stratigraphy: Golden Gate Member of the Tamiami Formation(?).
Location: Bonita Grande, Lee County, Florida USA.
Status: Extinct
Notes: A classic Caloosahatcheean species, it could have originated in the warm coral reef facies of the Tamiami or might be from a more southernly exposure of the Caloosahatchee than previously known. Large with a knobbed shoulder and inflated body whorl.
