Foxforce5
I compared my shark tooth to different shark teeth images on google and think that it came from an Angustidens shark? Am I correct? Thanks guys!
Gizmo
This looks like an Otodus obliquus from Morocco. https://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=otodus+obliquus+shark+tooth&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8
digit
Agreed. The side cusps seem more separate and outward pointing which would indicate an O. obliquus and not the younger C. auriculatus. As this older species is commonly found (and available) from Morocco, I assume this was a purchased tooth and not a personal find. http://www.thefossilforum.com/index.php?/topic/87071-shark-teeth/&do=findComment&comment=944193 Cheers. -Ken
Foxforce5
Thank you very much! No I did not find it myself. My grandmother gave me a box of old stuff and this was in it. I wanted to know more about it. Thanks again!
