Gee.. leave some Aust material for us to find ;)

Just kidding, those are some amazing fossils!! :D

Will do but I very rarely go to Aust. Ha, you’ve reminded me I need to go sometime soon.

Just to end the day, here are a couple of Triassic plesiosaur teeth. More tomorrow weather permitting.

Wow some great fossils! I love that sturgeon and all these triassic bones! Are they all from Aust? I really need to visit that location someday...

Would love to see some more

Many greetings from Germany ! Have a great time with many fossils :)

Thanks @belemniten. The fossils in the multicoloured conglomerate are from Aust. It’s definitely worth a visit if your passing or you’re in the area but in my option it’s not the sort of place that’s worth making a long trip too.

I’ll post some more later today as I’ve still got quite a few things to sort through. The Aust fossils are quite difficult to photograph and far better to look at in your hand.

You cant imagine how long I would travel for one of those plesiosaur teeth :D

No idea what this is. Looks like part of a maxilla from something. Circa 3 inches long. Again Triassic:

Just cut some partial shark spines down to size:

You can see how the bone bed is full of clasts, coprolites and bone. There’s the articulating end of a fish jaw in the middle

You find a lot of miscellaneous unidentifiable fish bones in the Triassic bone bed.

I’m almost finished tidying my fossil room. I’ll post a few more fossils tomorrow and then I’ll draw this thread to a close.

Thanks. I’ll upload the last photos later today. Gotta cut the hedge first.

This is the remains of a Jurassic fish from Lavernock Point in Wales. The only Jurassic fish I’ve ever found there. It was only because I lifted a shale slab with an ichthyosaur digit on and the fish was on the other side. Not great but I’m really pleased with this:
