Hey guys,

 

Was wondering what you guys think about this supposed skin impression.

 

Seller sent me a message that it’s from Hell Creek FM in Montana.  It measures 2 in by 1 in.

There are characteristics that say it might be an impression but if its one its a very poor example.  When you have to work hard to see the impression why bother.  I would pass on it and get find much better specimens which periodically come up for sale.

Some parts look quite worn. So as a whole it might not be as pretty as some other examples. But this one has some nice crisp details here and there.

No doubt about it being real though. Looks good. Just as Troodon said, there might be better examples out there.

Poor example of an impression. Not crisp very worn. I would wait until better ones become available
