Repaired Carch tooth?

Hi everyone,

I was looking around for carch teeth and this one caught my eye. It’s in rough shape but I don’t mind. Only issue is, to me the tooth looks like it has some glue and possibly composite on it. I want to know what you guys think so please let me know! Does it look like a low quality tooth, or a bad repair job?

Tooth measures 4 inches long and comes from the Kem Kem Basin

I dont see a composite but I do see what looks like some poorly done restoration (fill) in the center of the crown of your second photo.  There are also other areas with potential resto. I would rate any common theropod tooth with very poor serration, missing enamel and resto as very poor quality.

Informative as always! Thanks again:dinothumb:

Yeah, at least poor repair. At worst it might be a composite.
