cory
I found this near the Bonneville salt flats utah. I think it's a fish fossil not quite sure as I'm not to savy in this field
ClearLake
hmmm, that is odd looking. Are we sure it is not man made? What does the other side look like? Hopefully someone will recognize it.

Hopefully someone will recognize it. it feels and weights like stone. the white dots go 90% thru. I'm hoping its feather follicle from dino skin but I'm no expert Well, I'm still not sure what it is, but I am virtually certain that it is not dinosaur skin. That would be a very rare find and I still find the very square pattern of the white dots to be odd for nature.
Jackson g
Not dino skin certainly. It is odd looking and hard to tell, though it may be a type of coral if I'm guessing. Can you get a clearer shot of the topside? It seems to have some crinoid ossicles on the backside of the rock too, whatever it be.

Mark Kmiecik
It's a bryozoan? That's about the only thing I can think of that exhibits that pattern in some parts of it's structure. Mark. Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!
