Hi, So I recently went fossil hunting in Big Brook New jersey and I found these 2 objects. I'm not sure what they are. They could be rocks but they didn't look like it to me. I would love to know if these are just rocks or something more. thank you

Yeah, rocks for sure. Big Brook tends to produce a lot of provocative shaped stones, many with interesting textures. And you have to examine a load of them before you encounter any fossils.
