Hello from Massachusetts

Hey guys, I'm T Rex Eliot, and I'm a new member here. I've been into paleontology and fossil collection for years, but became more serious about the hobby maybe 5 years ago. I pretty much enjoy collecting anything I happen to find, but the majority of my collecting has been upper cretaceous material from New Jersey, since I have family in that area and we have basically nothing to collect here where I live in Massachusetts.

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone! I'd be very interested to hear if you're willing to share any tips for MA, @Fossildude19! I know there are fossil dinosaur footprints out in the Connecticut River valley, but that's pretty much all I've heard about. And being in Boston, if I'm going to drive 2.5 hours to get out there, I would probably just double the trip and go to NJ or upstate New York

My tip for MA fossiling... move out of state.  That's what I did 35 years ago.  (Grew up in Lexington).

But, honestly, MA is pretty scarce (not impossible) in the fossil dept, but nearby in NY, NJ, PA... Yeee haaa.

Welcome to the forum.  This is a great place to learn and see other peoples' finds.
