Fossil or rock, please?

Hi,

I have found this rock at Baltic sea coast in Latvia and kept it as I've found it interesting.. 

Then, watching some fossil discovery videos, decided to ask people with experience.. )

I have basically no knowledge of the subject and I apologize for wasting your time if my find is just boring )

Any thoughts?

Tis indeed an interesting object, but just a rock I'm afraid. 

Erosion has acted more upon the central section than the more quartzitic edges.

No need to apologise just look around on the forum and get a feel for the shapes and textures that fossils can have.

 

You might be able to find some amber.
