New Members Psmith8547 Posted October 9, 2022 New Members Share Posted October 9, 2022 found this on the beach near Lourhina, Portugal. Fossils in the Lourhina Formation are late Jurassic. This looks like a small walnut but the unusual shape with a cleft in the face isn't like any walnut. I can't find it in fossil botanical books. DPS Ammonite
Does it float which might indicate a young age? Doesn’t look Jurassic. Maybe a stone fruit pit. My goal is to leave no stone or fossil unturned. See my Arizona Paleontology Guide link The best single resource for Arizona paleontology anywhere.
