Caspersen Beach, Florida

Hey all,

I just returned from my first time at Caspersen beach, looking for shark teeth. I found a bunch of stuff, teeth, ray barb, and some other things that are puzzling me. I don’t think they’re just rocks. I know some are fossils, but I’d love someone to give me their input :) thanks

Hello, and a very warm welcome to TFF from Morocco.:)

Nice finds!

But the last couple aren't showing for me, the forum doesn't accept photos in the heic format, you need to add them as jpeg files if possible.

What you have includes overly worn pieces of Stingray Barbs

and Sting Ray teeth...

and then some VERY Very worn shark teeth.... The most complete one might be a Lemon Shark

This one looks like a worn burrfish mouthplate:

My favorite things about fossil hunting: getting out of my own head, getting into nature and, if I’m lucky, finding some cool souvenirs.
