A pair of small (3 inch) eggs from Heyuan, China

Hello,

A pair of curious eggs from China. 3 inches long, oval shaped. I thought they may be Segnosaur or Therizinosaur, but their eggs are rounder.

A small species of hadrosaur, or maybe crocodile? The shell is very thin.

The holes in them were caused by chisels during excavation, so they are damaged. But on the plus side, the damage does show how thin the shell is. Would any thoughts.

The photos are a bit blurred. But looking at them close, you can see the shell, especially in the gaps where they were chisseled. It is a thin layer

Not typical eggshell texture to the item. I would still stay away.

What would you say they are if not eggs? They are hollow.

Not my area of expertise, but I would say they are not dinosaur eggs of any kind.

Wait for other opinions.

"a bit blurred"?  Its making my eyes hurt trying to look at them.  Need much clearer images.  If these are your pics, you will get better results by holding the camera farther away and zooming in.  Youre getting a very shallow depth of field by trying to hold the camera right at the object.

If they are hollow, thats an extremely large red flag.

There is matrix inside. By hollow, I meant the "shell" doesnt go all the way in. It is a sort of thin layer of something surrounding matrix.
