Yeah, it's the first major influx in months, but I'm really happy about the quality of the fossils - and the rarity of some of the specimens as well 20 minutes ago, Praefectus said: I thought it was M. hoffmannii from Troodon's pictures. M. hoffmannii is reported from the Merchantville Fm. and the medial curvature and enamel texture seemed like a match. It can't be if it only has one carina, though. Are you sure there wasn't another carinae that may have worn away? Eremiasaurus doesn't have medial curvature in its teeth; it is also a Maastrichtian mosa while Merchantiville is Campanian in age. Didn't know it was Campanian in age. That makes it a first for me, as up to now I only have Maastrichtian and some Santonian mosasaur teeth. Having one Campanian in age is pretty cool! I'm pretty sure it's not a Mosasaurus sp. tooth, though, as the curvature is distal only, rather than mesiodistal - so it doesn't have the twist usually seen in Mosasaurus sp.. And while the tooth is somewhat worn exactly there where you'd expect the posterior carina to be located, I can't see any traces of one, nor would it have extended all the way down if it had been present. The round (i.e., uncompressed) cross-section and absence of posterior carina also excludes Clidastes sp., I believe, and the tooth is too robust for Plioplatecarpus sp.. So I guess it'll remain a bit of a mystery tooth 20 minutes ago, Praefectus said: There is not a lot written about the Merchantville Formation and the mosasaur diversity is very low. Taxa list from Gallagher 2016. Russell 1967 and Baird and Galton 1981 noted that the Merchantville Mosasaurus was probably M. hoffmannii. paulyb135
My latest tooth is this probable Brachiosaurus Altithorax (Only described Titanosauriforme in the Morrison Formation so far) confirmed by palaeontologist Royo Torres (last image). The tooth was found in Carbon County, Wyoming, USA, Late Jurassic Period of 150 million years ago.

Roses
I feel so fortunate to have picked up this beautiful unprepared baby keichousaur today! Very tiny - the matrix is 2.5 x 1.75" - but perfectly preserved. I just love how enormous the orbitals are in comparison to that teeny skeleton. This is the very first item in my collection and will be living on my desk for probably a very long time Edited December 19, 2022 by Roses

Misha
Here's a fossil I've been really excited about which finally arrived. It's labeled as Orthospirifer coopering, coming from the Genshaw Fm. in Alpena MI. This specimen immediately caught my eye while browsing online as I really enjoy brachiopods with any kind of encrustation from other organisms or borings, and this one was unlike any I've seen before, it has such huge density and diversity of encrusters that I immediately had to pick it up. The specimen contains multiple different hederellids, bryozoa, microconchids, some unidentified borings and probably more things hidden among them that I haven't spotted yet. musicnfossils
Christmas started a bit early…and started well! I had the owner of a local shop set this fossil aside and my wife’s parents gifted it to me. Partial albertosaurus tooth in bone, likely in frill but possibly jaw section. Would have been a monster if it was full, what’s left of the tooth is over three inches.

Paleorunner
I must say that this end of the year has been very fruitful for my collection. Together with lot E from the Christmas auction offered by @Ludwigia secret santa gift @nala I have also received in these last 10 days two lots, one of brachiopods, and another of brachiopods and echinoderms, plus the gift that was in the tree on Christmas day. (Douvilleiceras mammillatum 13cms). Oh! I don't know why the photo of the brachiopods is upside down. Merry Christmas....
