Nice one!  It's hard to find them with whole roots here.

My favorite things about fossil hunting: getting out of my own head, getting into nature and, if I’m lucky, finding some cool souvenirs.

Very nice tooth. Big hastalis are always a joy to find. They are absolutely one of my favorite finds.

3" is the magic number for hastalis teeth. I have one that measures 3.23 inches and several between 2 3/4 and just under 3"

Really nice tooth.  I agree with Don on 3 inches being a magic number for hastalis teeth.  I've collected several over 3" with my favorite being 3.13 inches from the Ernst Ranch in Bakersfield, California.

Nice tooth in great shape!

These would be my biggest C. hastalis teeth, all 3 self-found at the same location in the Antwerp region this year. I do believe C. hastalis is actually more common here than in the US.. no three incher so far tho..

Just wondering, would those actually be considered C. plicatilis instead of C. hastalis because of their broad form?
