Welcome to the forum!

I’m JP and happy holidays. It’s pretty quiet around here so you may not get a lot of help today but I personally only see rock and mineral material. I don’t see any fossil material. The first picture could be wood but I don’t know enough about that. You will in the future want to post fewer items in your ID and you want to include measurements along with numbers of what the items are. Otherwise people can’t really respond specifically to individual items without quoting your entire text.

Best of luck and I hope you find what you’re expecting

Welcome from the Valley of the Sun.

Not seeing any fossils either. They all look like cobbles rounded by a river, probably the Colorado. I see some red jasper in the box. Be on the lookout for brachiopods, sponges and other fossils from the Permian Kaibab Formation. Silicified Kaibab Formations could have come from the Grand Canyon area several million years ago.

My goal is to leave no stone or fossil unturned.

My favorite things about fossil hunting: getting out of my own head, getting into nature and, if I’m lucky, finding some cool souvenirs.

I agree that there are some beautiful pieces of red jasper in your box, but I don't see any fossil material.  Your first piece lacks any of the grain features I would expect to see in petrified wood.  It looks like a weathered rock with mineral infill to me.

Lovely jaspers, conglomerate, and I think a bit of quartzite. I’m not seeing any fossils as the others have said.

No fossils -- but you sure have a great collection of minerals.

Mark.

Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!
