Yes but in the metamorphic rock there is a fossilized/opalized bone structure that I believe is a skull of what looks to be a bird or reptile

Agree with previous interventions: no bone structure, no symmetry, no tooth, no eye cavity... It LOOKS, but it’s not !

That's just what it appears to be to your eye. In reality it's a metamorphic rock with interesting looking mineral inclusions. Birds and reptiles do not fossilize in this manner and particularly not in metamorphic rock. I agree with the others here.

I'm sorry to report that, on principle, this cannot be a fossil. The processes which cause metamorphic rocks to form involve intense heat and pressure, which would destroy any potential fossils.

 

That being said, I'd recommend you research if there are any fossil localities near where you live, and search there.
