Texas Hill Country Unidentified Fossils

Can anyone help me identify this fossil or artifact? I found it in central Texas Hill Country in hays county last year. I haven't been able to determine exactly what it is yet.

Not seeing any kind of fossil, here.

Agree looks like a piece of chert.

What size is it?  I have found something similar which I believe to  be an oolith.  They come in many odd shapes.
