Fallon
I found this piece last year in central Texas Hill country. I did a little bit of research to find out what it is and I think it looks most like a hoof of a prehistoric equine but I am not completely sure. Does anyone have any insight as to what it most likely actually is?
Rockwood
Sorry, the similar shape to that of a horse's foot is coincidental. This is not a hoof core, or the actual hoof.
Fossildude19
Weathered piece of limestone. Not seeing any bone texture or morphology. 1 3 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks."
