Hello guys , I just wanted to share some pictures of my amphibian fossils with you, and also want to see what amphibian fossils forum users have in their collections 😊 .

What do you think about them ?

( Branchiosaurus petrolei and

Apateon pedestris are the species )

Sorry if the photos are in the wrong order, there are in total 7 individual specimen .

Are good signatures really that important ?

Spectacular fossils, amphibians are my favorite group. Did you find these yourself or were they purchases? Germany seems to be a good location for those interested in amphibians. I only have one, a purchased Apateon pedestris. (Odernheim, Germany, Pfalz Formation, Permian)

My best chance for finding some is likely to keep cracking Mazon concretions, but the odds are poor I think :)

No , I didn't find them myself . The formation (Odernheim, Rotliegendes,Pfalz) they were found in is nature reserve since 20-30 years now which means absolutely no fossil hunting there anymore.

These specimen we're all found before that time and are from old collections .
