Is it Phacops smoothops? and I have another question.

Hi,

I think this trilobite looks like Phacops smoothops, it's eye facet similar Phacops smoothops eye fomula.

But I think  the smoothops genal angle is more rounded. So I'm not sure that it is smoothops. Is it smoothops?

 

And, in Phacopidae, if the eye facet is correct, can i specify it, if other features are little different?

All that i know is

Per over 6 lenses(big eye) : austerops

It looks like a good match with the two lens formula diagrams for "Phacops smoothops" in Chatterton et al. 2006.

 

Phacops smoothops Chatterton et al. 2006 was reclassified as Austerops smoothops in McKellar & Chatterton 2009.

 

However, it was reclassified and synonymized with Austerops menchikoffi  (Le Maître 1952) in Khaldi et al. 2016.
