Sorry it's not an egg but it bears more resemblance to one than most 'eggs' that are posted.  In the future please include location where found, measurements and any other info you can give.

This shape and mineral coating are seen in glacial deposits where soluble minerals have precipitated from ground water.

It was found by a geologist in mid-Wyoming. It was my Dad (who has passed away). For some reason he kept it for 60 years. Thanks for the response!
