Do you have a picture looking down on its back? I’m leaning towards ant but would like to see a few things before hazarding a call….

Randyw: I don't have better photos. I also can't take photos. Thank you very much for your help. I only have additional photos of the copal.  In the copal I recognized a termite, flies, mosquitoes, a beetle, false wasps, spiders and a 6.5 cm long twig.

NOT spider. 2 antenna, LG eyes. 3 segmented body. 6 legs. Blow up the picture you can clearly send the segments. Also the Antenna do not have joints. They can not be legs! They are also joined at the head! See picture…

I actually suspect it’s Yantaromyrmex constrictus or similar. Know for fuzzy abdomens…
