M3gal0don_M4n
Hello. I have another unknown tooth. I bought this and it was labeled as a raptor tooth. I have heard that this is a common occurrence. Upon searching the internet I found that it is in fact not a raptor tooth, however I found many things that looked similar. I came to the conclusion it was either a Abelisaurid or Carcharodontasaurid. Is it either of them or something else completely. If someone can tell me the exact species that would be great. If needed, when I am back from my trip to my country place, I can upload more images. Signature goes here.
M3gal0don_M4n
I thought maybe Chenanisaurus? Signature goes here.
Fossildude19
Location found would be necessary to get an ID further than Family. Exact species is impossible without provenance. 1 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." jikohr
My money is on Abelisaurid. Although some close up pics from multiple angles would be a big help in saying for certain.
M3gal0don_M4n
I’ll post more images, but I won’t tonight, as it is not currently with me at my holiday house. I’ll see whether I have more in my camera roll. Signature goes here.

BirdsAreDinosaurs
Better pictures are needed, but from what I think to see now, it seems the distal side is quite recurved. That would mean it probably is not abelisaurid, but an indeterminate theropod. Possibly juvenile carcharodontosaurid, noasaurid or dromaeosaurid, or something else. FF7_Yuffie
To me it looks like one of those undescribed theropod tooth---they are often either incorrectly labelled as Bahariasaurus or Deltadromeus.
