Is this turtle fossil from Ramanessin?

My initial thought was turtle when I found this. Can anyone help me determine what this is? Thank you very much.

I think it's of geological origin, sorry to say. Perhaps ironstone concretion? I think if you google "turtle shell fossil" you'll see the dimpled texture that is diagnostic for turtle, and absent here.

Can you please take a photo from the side so that you can see the broken edge? 

Just to be on the safe side. It looks geological, but I'm not 100% sure.

Turtle shell wouldn't have pattern on both sides.  Looks more like a septarian concretion.

As oilshale pointed out, a side view is needed to determine whether or not this is bone.

Thank you for help. Here is the broken side and I can now see it is not turtle.
