Found this in Coalinga, California.

I  haven’t been able to find anything to help identify it.

Feels like glass but doesn’t look like it.

Possibly some kind of mineral but not sure what exactly. Looks cool though. Hopefully some of the mineral experts will chime in.

The first one looks like some kind of mineral in botroyoidal form. Maybe hematite? The second appears to be a pebble with mineral veins, maybe calcite or quartz.

You would like to perform a streak test on the first one. Hematite, "Limonit", mangenese oxides are some of the possibilities.

What’s the best way to do streak test? Also the color is a very blue color

Streak test: Rub the edge of the specimen on the underside rim of a porcelain coffee cup or something similar. You can also use the underside of a porcelain toilet tank cover.

Another question: Is it lightweight, normal or heavy in comparison with a normal rock?

Yeah, that blueish tinge is a little bit strange.

Coalinga is a 3 to 5 million year old bay deposit that is rich in oil and sand dollars, but not copper.

The piece in question is most likely hematite. Blue is probably just an oxidized surface coating.

The streak test needs an unglazed porcelain like the underside of a toilet lid.

That blue one might be an interesting mineral formation but not sure if its actually a fossil.
